The Miners Couch was established in Burra, SA in 2000. The original owners expanded in 2006, opening a second store at Kadina, SA. With other projects on the go the Burra store was eventually closed down to make way for the larger Kadina store. New owners Patricia and Bruce Schmidt together with Damien and Nicola Adams were happy to take over the Kadina business in early 2009.

Since our purchasing of The Miners Couch we have aimed to continuously develop and innovate our product range within it's Olde Worlde niche. We are pleased to offer a wider range of antique furniture and collectables, plus a larger range of new product lines. To keep our many enthusiastic customers happy we have developed this website to bring you the opportunity to purchase from us all year round.
